Eternal Inflation

PVC pipes, hose, soap water, air pump.
De Witte Slagerij, Rotterdam, NL

Two pipes suspended from the walls in an old butchery are filled with soap water and each is connected to an air pump. When turned on foam slowly starts growing out of the pipes creating a mass of tiny soap bubbles. The foam is at all times expanding and deflating

creating a continuously changing process. Almost unnoticeable the foam is reacting to its involvement and visitors who subtly effects its shape and appearance. When the installation is turned off, the bubbles deconstruct and disappears.
