Glass Pavillion, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, NL
A floor dividing the Glass Pavilion in two was installed as a mirroring of the space. The lights of the space were taken down and reinstalled on the floor, copying the lights still installed in the ceiling.
Transforming the pavilion into two mirrored spaces a viewer could only detect the upper space by physically moving and repositioning themselves outside the and in the academy building opposite.
A collection of objects was presented inside the lower space of the pavilion. A slightly altered version of the presentation was repeated and installed in the upper space creating a doubling effect.
The difference was only to be noticed when both spaces was in view.
